ARTVENTURE WITH RUMAH AMAL RAUDHATUL JANNAH (NURTURING SAFE SPACES: STRENGTHENING CHILD WELFARE AND COMMUNITY SUPPORT)

This project contributed to sustainable outcomes by supporting the welfare and development of underprivileged children in alignment with Maqasid Shariah and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Financial contributions from corporate sponsors and community donors supported the operational sustainability of Rumah Amal Raudhatul Jannah, contributing to the protection of life (hifz al-nafs) and reducing socio-economic vulnerabilities in line with SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities.

Through creative and experiential learning activities, including an explorace-style campus tour at IIUM, the programme enhanced the children’s emotional well-being, confidence, and social skills, supporting the preservation of intellect (hifz al-ʿaql) in line with SDG 4: Quality Education. Sustainability was reinforced through recycled-material bookmarks that encouraged continued reading habits and a reusable activity module that enabled caregivers to sustain learning activities beyond the programme, supporting long-term educational aspiration and the preservation of lineage (hifz al-nasl).
