UNLOCKING OPPORTUNITIES: PRACTICAL BASIC MALAY CONVERSATIONS IN DAILY COMMUNICATION FOR BETTER INTEGRATION

UNIVERSITI MALAYA Tadika KEMAS Sri Melati (pelajar, ibu bapa, pentadbiran dan guru)

Faced Challenges
The principal challenge we encountered was time management, which gave rise to additional sub-problems. At the beginning of the project, our group lacked organization in the allocation of tasks and time management. These issues impacted our overall workflow, causing delays in project planning. Consequently, we had to convene sufficient participants and apply for tutor classroom reservation within a very limited timeframe.
Our Solutions
To resolve this issue, we organized a physical meeting to discuss the project plan and revised a time schedule for it. Subsequently, we quickly contacted the administration officer to apply for a classroom for a Malay tutor workshop and gathered the sufficient participants in the UM campus, successfully completing all tasks.
Solutions for the Future
Through this experience, we realized that successfully completing a project requires appropriate time management and clear tasks allocation. Constituting a well-defined structure and time schedule before starting the project could be more convenient and successful in conducting the project.

At the same time, preparing in advance and having a contingency plan (Plan B) is also essential due to unforeseen situations.

Furthermore, despite several initial issues, this experience enhances our ability of time management, teamwork skills, and practical communication abilities within an international and diverse environment.
