Impact to citizens (Malaysian taxpayers) • More citizens can submit e-Filing correctly and on time, reducing stress and last-minute errors. • Better understanding of what reliefs/rebates they are truly eligible for, so they avoid overpaying tax and also avoid “over-claiming” that could trigger issues. • Improved record-keeping habit (EA form, receipts, zakat/insurance/medical/education evidence), making next year’s filing faster and more accurate. • Higher confidence to deal with LHDN matters (knowing where to check information, what documents to prepare, and when to ask for help). Impact to students • Stronger applied tax skills: reading EA/BE forms, matching documents to relief categories, and explaining rules in simple language.
