UNIVERSITI ISLAM ANTARABANGSA MALAYSIA Pusat Jagaan Warga Emas Kaseh Bonda, 83, Jalan DM 3/3, Taman Desa Mas, Bandar Country Homes, 48000 Rawang, Selangor

This project delivers impact across three key groups:

1. For the Elderly Residents & Care Home:
• Enhanced Well-being: Reduced loneliness and isolation through meaningful social interaction and spiritual companionship.
• Improved Living Conditions: A safer, cleaner, and more organised living environment achieved through the gotong-royong and the installation of storage, curtains, and safety equipment.
• Tangible Support: Direct provision of essential items and improvements funded by the RM 2,000+ crowdfunding campaign.

2. For the Students (Usrah in Action 2 Participants):
• Cultivated Empathy & Social Responsibility: Developed a firsthand understanding of elderly care challenges and fostered the values of volunteerism, compassion, and sustainable community service.
• Practical Skill Development: Gained experience in project management, budgeting, community engagement, and organising a humanitarian initiative aligned with the SDGs and Maqasid al-Shariah.

3. For the Broader Community & Institutional Mission:
• A Model for Sustainable Engagement: Creates a tangible example of student-led action addressing key SDGs (Good Health & Well-being, Reduced Inequalities) and embodying the MADANI principles of Sustainability, Care, Respect, Innovation, Prosperity, and Trust.
• Strengthened Community Ties: Builds a lasting bridge between the university and a marginalised community, fostering mutual trust and understanding.

Measurable outcomes include the successful raising and allocation of more than RM 2,000, the procurement and fitting of essential items, the completion of all scheduled activities, and the production of a full project report for presentation.
