1) Reducing social isolation: Interviews provide seniors with a platform to communicate and share their stories which can help alleviate the feelings of loneliness. 2) Encouraging senior participation in society: By engaging seniors in conversation and providing them a platform to share their stories will make them feel more valued and included in the society. 3) Setting an example for younger generations : Spending time with senior citizens sets a positive example for the younger generation about the importance of caring and hearing out the elderly.
