SILVERCONNECT - SILVER STEPS INTO THE DIGITAL AGE

The project turned out to have some great results, such as increased empathy and interpersonal communication skills in the students, and community engagement in terms of teamwork experience. As for the elderly, it brought more confidence and skill in using digital devices while making them feel part of the community through intergenerational connections. The activities brought a positive uplift in mental and emotional health of the residents involved while at the same time furthering awareness through the initiative on digital divide and the issue of supporting elderly care. Through this project, intergenerational relationships were also fostered.
